Q: HI Bill, My names Bryce Stoddart from Australia. My question is; Do you have any tips or tricks for aligning the rails in both directions and either side for a home-made CNC?

Aligning the linear rails is a very critical step if you intend to have repeatable accuracy. The linear rails need to be parallel with each other and also aligned horizontally along their length.  Failing to properly align the rails can cause binding or produce inconsistant depth of cut.
